I Want It To Be Over
Tomorrow night my reference class meets for the next-to-last time. Tonight I have to write a book report for it. Well, they're not really book reports. The instructor calls them "literature reviews," and they're on articles in library trade magazines about reference work. We've had to do seven of these blasted things, and every other one the instructor makes us "present" them to the class. It's a time-sink tactic; she doesn't like to lecture.
Next week, in the last class, all we have to do is turn in this project called a "pathfinder." I'd never heard of these before. It's just a research guide on a specific topic. I'm doing old phonographs.
But I want it to be over. These semester needs to end.
