Been . . . Busy . . .
Since mid-August I have placed almost 300 interlibrary loan requests for students at work. God only know how many I've filled from other institutions.
I haven't had time to post anything here, or catch up on my favourite blogs, or just goof-off surfin'.
It hasn't been much fun. It always rough at the beginning of the semester but this year it's been worse.
On a lighter note, I saw the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe movie last weekend. The Netflix disc was so screwed up it skipped from where the kids were at the beaver lodge to where Aslan gets it. But it's a pretty good movie. I probably would have been more impressed if it hadn't come out so soon after The Lord of the Rings.
I also saw a movie about Ned Kelly. He seems to be an Australian Clyde Barrow. At the end of the film Kelly was shot full of lead, like Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in that other movie, but I've read since that he was actually hanged in a Melbourne prison.
