Earn That Sobriquet
In order to uphold the high standard implied by Ed with his link to me I post this entry.
I have to write a 12 - 15 page paper on some aspect of preservation in the archives. I chose sound recordings, sepcifically phonograph records.
I'm still on the phonograph hobby list-serv through which I found someone to sell me my machine, and yesterday a message came through saying that the University of California, Santa Barbara, has placed a collection of 5000 cylinder records on-line. It's here.
That was timely - I can use that.

The Awful Truth
I have made a terrible discovery. "South Park" comes on a local station at 12:30. It's an even stronger temtpation to stay up too late than tv's Craig Ferguson.
This is kinda funny.
The swim suit on Ebay mentioned in an earlier entry is now at $28. That's pushing it. I think the last time I bought a suit it was $25.

Ebay Guy
I've become a big fan of this guy who sells clothing on Ebay. I bet this suit ends up selling for more than it would cost to just go buy one in a store.
