I watched Pan's Labyrinth and 28 Days Later over the weekend. My DVD player has quit allowing subtitles to work so I had to watch Pan's Labyrinth without their benefit. It was a kind of gruesome movie with some death and disfigurement, and the ending seemed like a real bummer especially since I wasn't sure what happened.
I was fascinated with the country house at the end of 28 Days Later, with the big Laocoon in the front hall. Turns out to be this place.
